    This place was recommended by a friend. I ordered BBQ chicken #31, I thought it was great. The chicken cooked right and was very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the #15 California, crunch and spicy tuna rolls. Tasted fresh. The flavors of the individual ingredients came through.  The place was very clean and the customer service was good. They got our order right and it was ready fairly quick.

    California Bowl is one of those neighborhood spots I would like to go to if I were local, and it might be where I would go if I went to Los Angeles Community College (LACC) since it's fairly close.  There are several food options in the area, but if you're in the mood for sushi, rice bowls, ramen or udon, or bento boxes, it's a nice, quick spot.

    Bowl noodle "ramen"
    Sushi is great. This place is my favorite & always come here for sushi; however, today I came in with a friend after work. We decided to try their spicy ramen, item 74 on their menu. As a ramen fanatic, I was very excited to try their ramen, but I was shocked to see that it was simply a bowl noodle soup that was transferred onto a bowl. Biggest scam of my life!!!! Ugh! I can't even.. I'll just continue to stick to sushi because it's great but definitely not getting their "ramen" again.

    I love #32 and #34 and Miso soup side it's the best ever. I only wish I had more teriyaki sauce to-go, I think 3 sauces would be perfect.

    how rude of this girl working tonight. its only 9:05 and the first thing she sayd is "everything is to go" this place closes at 10! no wonder it was so dead inside. there were no customers inside at her whole demeanor was just so negative I don't even have a chance to look at the menu before I decided I just didn't want to eat there anymore. This business would be so much better if the employees were more welcoming. I literally just got out of a 4 hour class and I'm tired , just going to go get some sushi and treat myself but never mind.
